Everything here exists to be ignored, until it doesn't.
Photographs of nothing in particular that become something specific when they share a frame.
Everything here is overlooked. Passed under. Walked by. The montage pulls from the parts of the built environment that exist to be ignored, the mechanical, the structural, the in-between. Isolated, each image is a fragment of infrastructure. Together, they compose a surface where angles accumulate the way pencil marks accumulate in a drawing: building toward form without ever committing to a subject.
The palette barely announces itself. Muted steel. A disc of warm yellow. Open sky. Black edges holding everything in place. The restraint is the point.
The piece that proves the eye matters more than the subject.
At 24x36 inches on metal, it reads the way a well-made object reads: quietly, precisely, without needing to explain itself.
