18. Teagan

One line becomes a face. Another becomes a world.

A drawing reduced to its most essential language: black, white, curve, and instinct.

The figure is built directly out of gesture: a profile, a spiral, a crescent, a circle, fragments of ornament. Each shape feels simple on its own, but together they create something harder to pin down, part portrait, part symbol, part invented anatomy.

It feels less like looking at a finished drawing than catching a thought while it is still becoming one, recognizable enough to follow, abstract enough to keep moving.

On Chromaluxe metal at 24x30 inches, the contrast becomes almost physical. The blacks hold dense and absolute while the whites push forward with a hard, luminous clarity, giving the simple marks the presence of something much larger than the drawing itself.
